Why I voted as I did planning meeting 20.07.15

Development: 14/0532 Land south of 24-46 Kings road et al

• Planners Recommendations: refuse

• Issues of Contention: this was refused in 2007, and nothing major has changed since then, would not comply with the NPPF

• How I voted: for refusal, unanimous

• Why: the paperwork argument is compelling

Development: 14/0594 Land North of Bedlam Bridge Road

• Planners Recommendations: refuse, most the above issues

• Issues of Contention: lots, residents believe we should be more strident in our objections

• How I voted: for refusal, 13-1

• Why: no reason not to, there was no compelling reason not to do this

Development: 14/0869 12 Streets Heath, West End, 60 bed care home

• Planners Recommendations: grant

• Issues of Contention: NIMBY, noise, residents don’t want any changes to their village, size

• How I voted: for, matter carried by 9-5

• Why: this is a much needed facility and if refused would have to be done on non-valid planning reasons, and would be overturned on appeal, as there was no realistic planning reason to deny this

Development: 15/0141 Weston Paddocks

• Planners Recommendations: grant

• Issues of Contention: none that we can see, access to the estate

• How I voted: for, unanimous

• Why: no reason not to, there was no compelling reason not to do this

Development: 15/0216 Unigate Dairies in Windlesham

• Planners Recommendations: grant based on drainage

• Issues of Contention: drainage

• How I voted: for, carried by 10-4

• Why: no reason not to, there was no compelling reason not to do this

Development: 15/0427 Chobham Meadows Land

• Planners Recommendations: grant

• Issues of Contention: no real ones, although some comments have been received

• How I voted: for, unanimous

• Why: no reason not to, there was no compelling reason not to do this, we need the SANG access

Development: 15/0033 Unit 2 Trafalgar Way

• Planners Recommendations: grant

• Issues of Contention: none

• How I voted: for, unanimous

• Why: no reason not to, there was no compelling reason not to do this

Development: 15/0504 87 Park Road

• Planners Recommendations: grant

• Issues of Contention: none

• How I voted: for, unanimous

• Why: no reason not to, there was no compelling reason not to do this
