Sat in on an interesting webinar today from SocialMedia2Day, and heard an interesting presentation from Crispin Fairburn at SAP. The nub of their research is that it takes 7-17 touches with a prospective customer to impact a change in the customer’s view on a product or service. Turns this is basically the same for political views as well…
So, what does that mean??? Well, if you want to influence someone’s opinion on something, you will need between 7-17 touches with the person you want to influence. So, if you are a candidate, you have to find a way to touch your constituents from somewhere between 7 and 17 times to get them on side…
